Let it begin...

I will be leaving on my grand expedition sometime between the end of March and mid-April so there will be little activity here until I have something interesting to post. I have friends going back up and I they have offered me a chance to cram into the back of their vehicle with their three dogs for the longest road-trip I have ever undertaken, from mid-western British Columbia, through the Yukon Territories to well above the Arctic Circle. According to google maps it's 2,467 km from Smithers to Inuvik, it's going to be a heck of a road trip!

I must be crazy. But it's a good crazy... I think.

All you're going to see is snow, and indians. Not a very well thought out plan. For the cost you'll pay in gas for this trip, you could go somewhere warm.

And that differs from BC how? They don't actually get much snow, about a foot a year. (Except for this year ironically, they just had a freak blizzard.) It's a very well thought out plan, the financial opportunities are ridiculous.
